Weight, Size & Design
Surround Air XJ-3800 is 14 x 10 x 24 inches of size and weighs only 6 pounds. Although we didn't receive a lot of comments on how big and heavy people find it, we received a message saying: "It's a very lightweight machine that has a very elegant/professional look to it. The "Flow, Timer, and Power" buttons feel a little like cheap plastic, but it's really not a big deal, nor does it diminish the look of the purifier."
Performance
Most of people are very satisfied with the performance of this purifier. When it comes about allergies, Surround Air XJ-3800 is recognized as the best air purifier: "Must noticably reduce our allergies, clear smoke and odors: 5+ Stars! Have had it two months with a smoker, a hairy dog, and allergy season in full bloom. Reduced allergies and no breathing problems at home since we got it. Noticeable quick removal of odors and smoke!"
It is also recognized as a very quiet unit. We received a comment from the family constantly using this purifier. They stated that they keep this unit in the living room and most of the time on auto mode: "On low and medium, it's very quiet. On automatic mostly very quiet, unless it's under attack from something like cooking or opening the door frequently. On high, it makes a noticeable "white noise". But, it's OK good for falling asleep and not so loud you can't hear the TV." However, this family also noticed that although it is so quiet, they would not put it on "high" regularly.
Others said that the coverage space of this air purifier is much more than the stated 600 sq ft: "This one seems to cover about 1,200 sq. ft. - or more than double what is listed. But, even with what was listed, proved to be the best ranked in comparison with price levels."
We also received a couple of negative comments. One of those was about the cleaning of this air purifier: "It has many pieces that must be put together exactly right in the right order. In putting it back together this time I broke one tiny little wire and the whole thing would not work. Perhaps it is just me."

My Left surround, center, and right front speakers on my sony str-k700 surround sound dont work help!!?
I ordered this surround sound off eBay. After I attached the metal things on the speakers to the back of the receiver I noticed that the left surround, center, and right front speakers didn't work!! I went to message the seller I bought it from but of course he closed his account! hopefully someone has got a solution thanx
Make sure you have red to red black to black connections on your speakers. Check the surround settings first to make sure the levels are turned up on each speaker. If they still aren't working I would test each speaker on an output that you know is working to make sure you didn't receive bad speakers. If the speakers are working ok, then there may be an issue with the receiver.
