What is a good (free) music-editing program?
I downloaded this program called AVS Audio Editor, and cut one of my songs (so it will be shorter) and it flowed SOOO nicely- but when I tried to save it when I replayed the song about every five seconds it said "avs editor demo" and the music is so hard to hear... so where can i download a free music editing software (it doesnt have to do anything fancy, I just need to make a song shorter) post a link please 
Some good suggestions offered but Audacity is the only free one.
